This dress works really well on tall, angular, athletic builds. The open collar bone with a V-neck creates a flattering bust line for someone of a smaller chest (approximately size B bust). The drop waist lengthens the torso and the ruched surplice bodice creates the silhouette of an elegant waist line with curvy hips. I was worried at first that the dress would appear a little too gaudy, but I was very wrong. The dress, especially in ivory, is gentle and elegant. The dress really does not need much jewelry to accentuate its beauty. The beaded embroidery around the dropped waist adds enough contrast to off set the softness of the charmeuse fabric with its natural drape to your shape.I wore small diamond studs with a small heart pendant my husband gave me.  The gobet train extends about four feet from the waist and is adorned with beaded embroidered appliqués. The train is the only portion of the dress that has been altered so that it could be pinned up.
