Brand New, un-altered, Professionally cleaned by the store and kept in garment bag at all times. Smoke free home. I bought this as a backup dress for my hand-made one, but did not wear it for my wedding since the hand-made one was finished just in time. It is a totally unique sample worn only for a photo shoot or runway show. It has "June" and an ID number written inside by the tag. It is unaltered, so the hem skims the floor if you're 6 feet tall. I am a street size 8 (US), 34 B, and it fit like a glove once I wore a nicely padded bra, but you could easily alter to fit if you are larger (lace-up back) or smaller. It is extremely figure flattering and very comfortable to wear, sitting or standing. Though it is strapless, it provides great coverage and you will be safe from wardrobe malfunctions as you dance.
The pictures can't quite capture the stunning embroidery, it is very delicate yet packs a modern punch when the light catches it, they look almost like holograms they are so finely done. The asymmetrical gathers make your waist look teeny tiny and it sweeps into a chapel train. There is a lining to fill out the skirt, but it's not cumbersome to walk or sit in. The dress is 100% silk taffeta and was designed by the famous Ines Di Santo, who's dresses normally retail for $3,500-$10,000. I have not been able to find a production picture for a direct retail comparison, so I believe it to be one-of-a-kind. I think this dress would have fallen in the $5,000 range based on it's detail and style.
